This Privacy Policy explains how HoverLayer LLC ("HoverLayer," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use MileBooks, our mileage, expense, receipt, and financial organization application.

MileBooks may allow you to connect financial accounts through Plaid. Plaid is a third-party service that enables secure connectivity between your financial institution and our application.

We do not collect or store your bank username or password. When you use Plaid Link, your credentials are provided directly to Plaid or your financial institution, not to MileBooks. We use the financial data received through Plaid only to provide features such as transaction import, expense organization, business or personal categorization, recurring bill detection, and tax-ready reports.

Your use of Plaid is also subject to Plaid's privacy practices and applicable terms. You may disconnect your bank account from MileBooks or request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Free accounts may be subject to product storage limits, including a limit of up to 50 active trips. If a free account reaches a storage limit, MileBooks may prevent additional records from being added unless records are deleted or the account moves to a paid plan.
